But God, Therefore | Pastor Mark Pearce
The first three chapters of Ephesians tell us what God has done. Then Paul arrives at a pivotal word in Ephesians 4:1 — “Therefore.” Because we have been rescued by grace, united into God’s family, and filled with His power, we are called to live differently.
In this message, we explore:
- How God brought us from death to life through His mercy (Ephesians 2)
- How Christ tore down the walls that separated people and created one family
- How believers are called to maintain unity through humility and patience
- How every Christian has a spiritual gift meant to build up the body of Christ
- How spiritual maturity comes through truth, love, and discernment
Paul’s challenge is clear: don’t remain a spectator. Don’t remain spiritually immature. Live a life that proves God has called you.
This message offers practical encouragement for navigating division, social media outrage, insecurity, and spiritual passivity while staying rooted in the identity and purpose found in Christ.
