Senior Pastor
Pastor Mark comes from a musical and ministerial family background. He began pastoral work at age 17 and has served over 35 years in various roles including youth pastor and worship pastor. His family includes seven generations of pastors and evangelists.
Despite being diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis, he experienced divine healing and became a competitive weightlifter, earning seven World Deadlift Championships. His inspiring story has been featured in magazines, books, and media. He reconnected with his junior high sweetheart, Dr. Karen Roush, in 2009 and they married February 28, 2010.
Dr. Karen Roush-Pearce
Co-Pastor • MD, MBA
Dr. Karen has worked over 20 years as a pathologist with the Methodist Hospital system, serving as Vice Chairman of Pathology. She holds both an MD and an MBA.
She serves on multiple committees including Methodist Health System, Carter BloodCare, and The College of American Pathologists. Raised in a Missionary Baptist household from Lonoke, Arkansas, Dr. Karen brings a deep faith and servant heart to the ministry.
Together, Pastor Mark and Dr. Karen have seven children and grandchildren. Their shared vision emphasizes worship, biblical knowledge, and developing ambassadors for Christ within their congregation.
