He Came, He Conquered, We Won | Easter Sunday | Pastor Mark Pearce

Apr 5, 2026    Pastor Mark Pearce

Resurrection Sunday is the defining moment of our faith. What appeared to be loss became the greatest victory the world has ever known.

In this message, we explore three pivotal moments in the story of Easter.

First, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus surrendered His will to the Father. In a moment of deep anguish, He chose obedience, setting the stage for our salvation.

Second, on the cross, Jesus completed the work of redemption. His final words, “It is finished,” declared that the debt of sin had been fully paid. Every prophecy fulfilled. Every barrier removed.

Finally, through the resurrection, Jesus rose not as a victim, but as a conqueror. Death was defeated, sin lost its power, and eternal life was secured for all who believe.

This message reminds us that salvation is not something we earn, but something we receive. And it is not the end of the story—it is the beginning of restoration. Just as something once broken can be restored to reflect its true value, God continues His work in us through His Spirit.

Because He lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence and hope.
